FAQ
How do i prepare for a tattoo appointment ?
To make sure that your skin is in the best condition to be tattooed, you can always start with moisturizing the area 10 days prior to your appointment. Some areas on the body tend to be dryer than other areas. The elbow for example can be very dry in the winter. With some moisturizing before the appointment it will be easier for the artist to tattoo the area. Just make sure to leave you skin in its natural state the day of the tattoo. So no moisturizer or cremes on the day itself.
Make sure you are well rested and have eaten enough before you come to your appointment. A good night’s rest and a descent breakfast is good base to get tattooed, especially if you have a long session. You can always bring some food, snacks and drinks with you to get you through the session. We recommend snacks and drinks with sugar, just to fuel your body a little bit extra during the appointment.
Can i bring someone with me to my appointment ?
We prefer you come alone to your tattoo appointment.
But we don't mind if there is 1 extra person, especially if it's your first tattoo.
Do you tattoo with ashes of deceased ?
Unfortunately we don't. There are too many other unknown things in the ashes that makes the risk of having an infection on your tattoo really big. Your body will see this as a strange substance and will try to push this back out in the form of an infection.
Do you tattoo under the age of 18 ?
No we don't, even if you have permission from your parents. Our minimum age is still 18.
Can you cover a scar with a tattoo?
Yes you can. A scar has to be healed for a year or longer for it to be covered.
Always consult with your artist first what the possibilities are.
Can I get a tattoo if I am on certain medication ?
If you are taking antibiotics or other medication to treat something, always consult with your doctor if it's safe for tattooing or not.
Do you do piercings or laser removal
We are a studio based on tattoos only. For these matters you can search places nearby.
